THE LORD PROVIDES…

At GHHC’s April prayer gathering, we again, had the opportunity to see just how the Lord provides for all our needs .

In the last few weeks, a number of generous donors dropped off blankets at the Center or at Tammy’s home. As many of you know we have very limited storage space at the Center, and since the winter weather is beyond us, we were wondering how best to store the blankets until next winter.

Due to unforeseen circumstances we were unable to get into our usual gathering place at Linden Lutheran Church. Do we cancel this month’s gathering because we have no indoor meeting place? No! Too many people count on this. It was decided the prayer gathering would be held at the Center, outside, with the temperature at 40 degrees with the sun shining.

Praise be to the Lord’s provisions and our faithful donors – we handed out the donated blankets to 23 adults and seven children. All were thrilled with the gift of warmth! No complaints were heard about the cold temperature as they were warmed and filled with the Scriptural message provided by Trina. After the message, everyone had their bodies filled with a lunch of pasta and ham sandwiches. Each attendee received a hostess gift bag of dental hygiene on the way out. Praise the Lord for another successful prayer gathering of sharing His word and his love and for providing for ALL of our needs!
